The Textured Basecoat & Aggregate Kit is Step 3 of the All Deck Waterproof System, transforming the smooth fiberglass membrane into a safe, slip-resistant walking surface. The basecoat provides color and UV protection while the broadcast aggregate creates consistent texture for barefoot comfort and wet-weather traction.
How It Works
The textured basecoat is applied over the cured fiberglass membrane, then aggregate is broadcast into the wet coating to create a uniform, non-slip texture. This dual-component approach allows precise control over texture density — lighter broadcast for residential comfort, heavier for commercial slip resistance.
