Bio Control Prime & Seal is a penetrating clear primer designed to prepare wood substrates for the All Deck Waterproof System. It seals wood fibers, prevents biological growth (mold, mildew, algae), and creates an optimal bonding surface for the laminating resin membrane.
Why Priming Matters
Raw or weathered wood contains moisture, biological organisms, and open grain that can compromise membrane adhesion. Bio Control Prime & Seal addresses all three issues: it displaces moisture, delivers biocide deep into the wood structure, and seals the grain to prevent resin absorption that would starve the fiberglass membrane of material.
