Seam Metal provides a rigid, pre-formed termination point where the All Deck waterproof membrane meets vertical surfaces (walls, door frames, posts). This galvanized metal flashing ensures a watertight connection at the most vulnerable point in any deck waterproofing system — the horizontal-to-vertical transition.
Why Transition Flashing Matters
The junction where a deck surface meets a wall is the #1 failure point in waterproofing systems. Water naturally collects at these transitions, and without proper flashing, it will find its way behind the membrane and into the wall cavity. Seam Metal provides the rigid termination that prevents this failure mode.
