Description
TWP 1500 Series Wood Preservative — Deep-Penetrating UV & Moisture Protection
TWP (Total Wood Preservative) 1500 Series is a premium oil-based wood preservative stain that penetrates deep into wood fibers to provide comprehensive protection against UV degradation, moisture damage, mildew, and algae growth. Unlike film-forming coatings that sit on top of wood, TWP 1500 works from within the wood structure — it cannot peel, crack, or blister.
How TWP 1500 Differs from All Deck
TWP 1500 is a penetrating stain — it soaks into wood to protect the fibers themselves. All Deck is a waterproof membrane coating — it creates a physical barrier on top of the substrate. Choose TWP 1500 for natural wood appearance on ground-level decks and fences. Choose All Deck for waterproofing over living spaces where water intrusion must be completely prevented.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply TWP 1500 over an existing stain?
TWP 1500 can be applied over previously TWP-stained surfaces after cleaning. It cannot be applied over film-forming stains, paints, or coatings — those must be completely removed first.
How often does TWP 1500 need to be reapplied?
Horizontal surfaces (decks): every 2-3 years. Vertical surfaces (fences, siding): every 3-5 years. South-facing surfaces in high-UV environments may need more frequent maintenance.
