High Flex Laminating Specifications

PART 1 – GENERAL

A. Fluid applied, fiberglass reinforced, WATER VAPOR TRANSMISSION PREVENTION SYSTEM specifications for on grade horizontal concrete surfaces.

1.02 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

A. Waterproofing System: Is a fiberglass reinforced, flexible, water-based acrylic waterproof membrane system that is applied between the substrate/sub-floor and the finished flooring. It is designed to decrease water vapor transmission to an acceptable rate . Application consists of: 3/4 oz. fiberglass mat applied over entire surface. First coat roller applied over mat at a rate of 40-60 sq. ft. per gal. Second coat roller applied as designated. Do Not substitute coat one for coat two.

B. Provide ventilation during application process within an enclosed space.
